What is a Multimedia Artists?
An animator or multimedia artist, is a person who creates animation or special effects for media purposes. Animators work in teams with other animators to create animation for a movie, video game, t.v show, or other form of entertainment. Animated things are composed of many drawings shown in an order that makes them appear to be connected at such a speed that your brain's persistence of vision ability creates the illusion of movement. Animators are the ones who create the drawings.
Every animated movie or video game requires thousands of drawings, several animators draw different parts of the type of movie in storyboards. The multimedia artists then meet together and discuss with each other about their drawings. They give each other constructive criticism and eventually a final product is created through a computer version of all their drawings.
When an animator originally starts as a trainee. For up to 1 and one half years, they are paid around $20 hourly. After they surpass the trainee level, they are paid around $30 hourly & about $60, 000 annually. (*Note-This is based on a normal animation job and not a famous company).
